Canella Bark candle
The fragrance "Canella Bark" is described as a warm and spicy blend of Canella bark, Cinnamon stick and crushed nutmeg with a woody undertone of creamy sandalwood and Vetiver. Canella Alba is a straight tree, from 20 to 50 feet high, with erect branches at the summit only. The bark is yellowish-white; the inner bark thick, smooth, and pale, with a biting, aromatic taste. The canella bark is from the inside of the same tree cinnamon comes from, the outer bark is cinnamon and the inner bark is the canella bark. Wow, this is a very strong cinnamon like scent, but not cinnamon, something more. The scent is awesome yielding a strong, crisp, and uplifting aroma without being heavy. This is a definite room sized scent. Palm wax is a fantastic material for making candles that burn with very little soot. This candle has very good cold and hot fragrance throw, and weighs one pound. I have sized the wick to create a thin wall around the flame as the candle burns down. A very nice effect is given off by the flame shinning through the crystal loaded candle walls and the body of the candle. Eventually the wall will erode and be consumed by the candle. It is very important to keep the wick centered in order to maximize this effect and get the longest burn times from the candle. All the candles I have in stock are very similar to the photos but not exact, there will be slight variations in color and pattern. The wax has a very different feel to it, and an awesome appearance due to the crystal formations on the surface of the candle. Burn this candle just like any other candle.
Use the following guidelines to get the most out of your purchase:
1. Keep the wick centered within the within the diameter of the candle. Do not allow the hot wax to break through the candle wall, extinguish the candle and relight as soon as the candle cools.
2. Trim the wick to 1/4 to 3/8 inches prior to burning. Too long a wick will cause the candle to flicker uncontrollably. This reduces the life of the candle.
3. Burn the candle in an area free of drafts, and for 3 - 4 hours at a time or roughly 1 hour per inch of diameter.
4. Follow all the safety guidelines written on the candle labels.
